1. Who we are
TrustBoost is operated by CYBERGROUP GLOBAL LTD (“TrustBoost”, “we”, “us” or “our”), of 4th Floor Silverstream House, Fitzroy Street, London, England, W1T 6EB.
For questions or requests about personal information, email support@trustboost.ai.
2. Our role
Businesses use TrustBoost to invite customers to leave reviews and to process the resulting feedback. When we handle customer contact details and review invitations on a business customer’s instructions, that business will usually be the data controller and we act as its processor.
We act as a controller for information used to operate TrustBoost, manage our business relationships, keep the service secure, respond to enquiries and conduct our own permitted marketing.
3. Information we collect
- Contact details: name, email address and telephone number.
- Review information: review text, ratings, responses and related details submitted through the service.
- Account information: identifiers and basic profile information supplied when an account is created or a supported sign-in provider is used.
- Business information: organisation name, role, communications and service preferences.
- Technical information: IP address, device/browser information, timestamps and security or diagnostic records generated when the service is used.
- Marketing preferences: choices, consent records, unsubscribes and objections.
Information may come directly from you, from the business that asked us to collect your review, from your chosen sign-in provider, or automatically through your use of the service.
4. How and why we use information
- To send requested review invitations and collect, process and manage feedback.
- To provide accounts, authentication, customer support and service communications.
- To analyse ratings, channels and feedback trends and provide service insights, including concise AI-assisted summaries.
- To protect the service, prevent misuse and diagnose technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
- To send marketing about TrustBoost where consent has been given or another lawful route applies.
Depending on the circumstances, our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving a secure review service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent. Where we rely on consent, it can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Review invitations and marketing
A message asking for feedback is sent in connection with an experience with the business identified in that message. Contact details provided for review collection are not automatically treated as permission for unrelated marketing.
6. When information is shared
We share information only as needed with the business requesting the review, technology and hosting providers, email and SMS communications providers, authentication providers, AI processing providers supporting service summaries, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, and parties involved in a corporate transaction. Providers may use information only under appropriate contractual and security controls.
Reviews may be displayed to the relevant business or published where the review experience clearly indicates this. Please avoid including sensitive or unnecessary personal information in review text.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
8. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected, our customer’s documented instructions, legal requirements, dispute handling and security. Retention depends on the account relationship, review campaign and nature of the record. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. If we process information only for a business customer, we may refer your request to that business.
Email support@trustboost.ai to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
10. Children
TrustBoost is intended for business use and is not directed to children. Please contact us if you believe a child’s information has been provided inappropriately.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to TrustBoost or applicable law. The latest version and effective date will always appear on this page.
